CCNA + BS in IT = Sneaking into a Network Engineer Role

I've finally sneaked into a Network Engineer role! Not exactly at the salary that I'd like but I'm told it will be raised quite quickly if I fulfill a few easier Aruba certs for this company. They want me to get the ARSS (sales specialist cert), and then ACMA and ACMP. I figure I can do this is 2-3 months and then I'll possibly work on CCNA:Wireless.
I'm sad I won't be working with Cisco products everyday but am assured the IOS language is compatible on the Aruba products. I'm also very excited to start designing and implementing wireless solutions in hospitals and educational systems. Seems like a great opportunity for a 22 yr old fresh out of college!

Good luck!An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -

Something similar happened to me to. Graduated college with a BS and a CCNA and got a contracting gig out in afghanistan doing networking. First job after college and it's a 6 figure job. I'm going to be spoiled when I come back to the states.
