get access to free live cisco routers

hi all,
Is there any site which would allow us to get access to free live Cisco routers so that we can practice as much as IOS commands and scenarios on those routers.

Would using these online racks be as good as owning the actual routers/switches?

No, but at least you have the confidence of 'working' with a real router instead of a simulation program. Furthermore, it's free...

Taking the exam in a few weeks and need to brush up on commands.

Try BryantAdvantage. It wasn't free but he was running a special 3 days for $20.00 which I took advantage of. Worked out quite nice.
