Need help connecting Switch to Router

Hi guys
My initial topology as below. Emulated a cisco switch onto GNS3
Able to ping from router to router but unable to ping from switch to router
S1 Vlan - 172.30.2.180 / 255.255.255.0
no shutdown
default gateway - 172.30.2.1
R1 f1/0 - ip address 172.30.2.1 / 255.255.255.0
no shutdown
Am i doing something wrong here ?
