passed vcp5 exam. when do i need to complete vmware course to officially become vcp5

hi, i passed the vcp5 exam about a couple of months ago. when do i have to complete the vmware course before officially become a vcp5? is there a deadline that i need to take the vmware course by? i am planning to take one of those official online courses.

My gut feeling after reading their documents - as long as you complete it and apply for the status while VCP5 is still offered. But you better check directly with VMware Certification customer support.

You will be awarded VCP5 whenever you are able to meet both the training and exam requirement.

So in terms of training, once you've classed as having completed the official training you will be a VCP5 - it doesn't matter when you complete the training and the qualifying vSphere 5 classes will be around til after the release of vSphere 6 (or whatever it might be called) - I think it will be mid-2013 at least til that happens...
