Any feedback, good or bad will be much appreciated! Don't butcher me too bad though, first time actually having to use a resume for job hunting and first time looking for a career type job. Thanks in advance.

DEC901 Member Posts: 48 ■■□□□□□□□□Looks good. A suggestion would be to keep the work experience (where you worked, how long you worked) together and separate from your actual accomplishments (highlighting what was done on the job). Otherwise, it looks good, especially that you're prior military with a clearance!!!

Akaricloud Member Posts: 938I'd suggest either re-writing the overview or taking it out and saving that kind of stuff for your cover letters. The second sentence really has no subject(IE Who's working on a graduate degree?).
Under your first listed job: re-write the first sentence. Provides support ... to include support doesn't work well.
Your proficiencies section is misspelled.
Under this section is "Trouble Ticket Software" a specific piece of software or is there a reason as to why is it capitalized?
Also the last line about letters of recommendation drives me insane how it's capitalized and really isn't useful. I'd suggest taking your references out completely as well. I doubt your references really want you giving out their info to every place that you apply. If a company wants them, they will ask.
Nothing major, just little things. Overall it's already pretty strong. I'm not a huge fan of how much white space is left here, I would either try to fit it all on one page or extend it out to better fill a second page. -

hiddenknight821 Member Posts: 1,209 ■■■■■■□□□□Much better, but if I were you, I would take out the footer and maybe the overview too. When you apply for a position, the employer should at least make an automatic assumption that you are interested in that position you are applying for, so you don't need to reiterate what skill you have listed on your resume or what you are looking for. That's what the cover letters (whether it's an attachment or inside the email). Also, for the references, it's the employer's responsibility to ask for letter of references if he/she is interested in you. He/she should see no reason why you would refuse to give him/her some references since you are clearly interested in the position you are applying for.
