So I'm looking to have my CV done by someone/a company who is experience in writing IT specific CVs.

I've only been in one IT job and have been there for over 7 years, in that time I've done a fair bit and quite frankly i just don't know where to start. I keep making attempts at it myself, but my job roles there have seen me cover various things at various times, making it very difficult to put it all into words and make it look/sound good at the same time.

Can anyone recommend someone or a company for this? i seem to remember there being someone on this board who used to do it but can't remember.

I've dealt mostly but not limited with Cisco and have spent a lot of time working with voice, security, wireless, routing/switching....

any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

LinkedIN has groups that can assist you and if you want to go the pay route you can find some good professional "certified" resume writers out there.

If you are comfortable posting a redacted version of your cv on TE, there are lots of helpful forum members that could offer advice.

    appreciate the responses guys.

Yes i have considered putting up the CV on here for editing but i actually don't have one yet, at least...i don't have one that has a work experience section which i know is the meat and bones of a CV. The problem i have is putting my years of work at this single place into a readable form to include the role changes, experiences, projects etc that i took part in. I kinda wish i started this CV when i first joined! Second thing is time, I'm just about getting the time to post on this forum due to both work and personal commitments.... hence why I'm seeing if i can find a company who can listen to what I've done and then do the work for me, but again I'm after a reputable company, hopefully one that you may know about or have used.

    Thanks again people.
