After many reschedules of the exam, I passed today! I didn't get the greatest grade, but I passed. Next up, CISSP!

    I took the official course through global knowledge. I then purchased a the AIO book by Matt Walker and used these pratice tests at www.ucertify.com.

    Just started reading the Matt Walker book, would you say it was pretty helpful overall?

    It was very helpful, but don't use it as the only study guide. Get to know the tools cold.

    Thanks for that, yeah, i'm trying to read the book and then see where I may need to brush up on. Made it through 3 chapters the last few days, lot of interesting stuff.

    Coolz203 - did you have to take a CEH class to be able to take the 312-50 exam? I am starting to read the All in One book now, but I can not find a direct answer, I thought 312-50 was for those who take the class and ECO350 is for self study. Did you do self study? I plan on taking the exam within the next 4 months. Am I understanding the exam numbers correctly or no?

    Sorry for the late reply. I took a class prior to taking the class. However, I already had clearance from EC council to take the test due to my experience. I wasn't sure if my employer was going to pick up the tab for the exam.
