Role is essentially to assist with the manager to tighten up the processes and train service desk, desk side support, and the deployment team.
The job is a contract position with no benefits, but my wife carries the medical. The position has a light job description which concerns me, but it is an agile position so I could be shifted all around. I have complete buy in from management, 100% faith in me. They are excited to have me back in the organization. I am excited to get back to St. Louis I miss my family and friends. It was a great experience but this is what is best for my family. My wife is still looking but she won't be transitioning till October 10th. My start date is the second week of August so that will cause stress. Nothing is official till I get the signed letter
Hopefully this evolves into what I hoped.

My main piece of advice to any young IT professional is build a CRM list and make sure to systematically go through it and check in on your former bosses, peers, etc. This is how this position came to fruition and several others I had in the past. -

In terms of IT think of a college graduate that gets out and goes to work for Microsoft as a DBA. That's the kind of experience she has in her short tenure with the health system she works for.
I'll keep you all posted. -
gadav478 Member Posts: 374 ■■■□□□□□□□With my current situation, I have learned one valuable lessson. When its time to leave, it's time to leave. When you have a concrete start date (preferably at least 2 weeks ahead of time), PUT IN THE TWO WEEKS. I actually have it good. I work my current job overnight so I can come to the next gig at 9. I'll be tired (16 hour days are killing me right now), but I'll still be able to have a good reference for not just rolling out before 2 weeks.Goals for 2015: CCNP
