This might be just a lack of understanding how either device handles VLANs, but here it is, maybe someone else has a bit of a clue
Here is the scenario
Internet > ADSL BiPAC 7402NX > HP Procurve 1800-24G > Raspberry PI
I am trying to simply change the default VLAN1 to VLAN10 for further testing (walk before you run etc.). I know Cisco but all vendor seem to use a different way of setting up VLANs or even call them completely differently (using same terms) - for example .. A Trunk port on a Cisco is a 802.1Q - on HP a Trunk port is an etherchannel.
Anyway ... Port 4 of the BiPAC is the uplink to the HP (port 24) and the PI is connected to port 1 on the HP.
First thing I did on the BiPAC:
On the HP side I did this for both, port 1 and 24
I am not getting any traffic through which makes me wonder if I am missing anything ?
