Got my first IT gig the other day. Contract work and only PC refresh but the actual payoff was EXHILARATING!!! It was a small bit of work but I was glad to get it. Makes me a little more confident as a Padawan!!!

I started in deployment/refresh - do what you can and help out as much and keep a good name with the agency and they'll start putting you into desktop/helpdesk roles and you're on your way -
