Aircrack-ng for Android

4_lom4_lom Member Posts: 485
Anyone know if Aircrack has been ported to any phones besides the Nokia 900. I just got a OneX. Just wondering if it's been compiled for the Tegra proc yet. Not sure if the wireless card supports monitor mode either...

To the best of my knowledge, they got it working on a G1, but no one went any further with it.

But if you really wanted to run it on your phone you could look into Ubuntu for Android Ubuntu for Android | Ubuntu as it gives you a full linux desktop on your phone and from there you should be able to install aircrack-ng

Yeah I was doing this for awhile. I had an Acer Aspire One and a Alpha Networks external wifi card with a huge antenna on it. But even this became a bit cumbersome icon_wink.gif
