in CCNA & CCENT
Hi,
Been on the site a short time, and now finally getting to some fun studying for ICND1. I am NOT a test guy...in preparing for previous tests, I had to study for months before I was comfortable getting into a test environment. I am eager to get my CCNA, and this forum has paid me in spades with information, and hopefully I can begin to pay that back in someway.
I have Packet Tracer ver. 5.3.0.0088 and after a few YT tutorials I am ready to play around with it. With that said, here is my completely vague and totally open-ended question.
What type of setup/configure recommendations does anyone have when starting out with packet tracer, in preparation for ICND1?
Thoughts, suggestions, challenges are all welcome.
Thanks,
MWNT

Apart from lab-ing all the examples in your books and following along with the videos, you could also just let your imagination go wild! =D Get creative and design a network infrastructure that you think should kick ass. No one will blame you for "buying" too much hardware nor will you get fired for bringing the network down! heheStudying: vmware, CompTIA Linux+, Storage+ or EMCISA
Future: CCNP, CCIE
