Cisco 3725 Routers

I just picked up a 3725 for less than $50 (thats + shipping) on eBay and now I have some questions. Will any Compact Flash memory work with it? Also, I hear these are good for CCNA:Voice studies?

You can use Sandisk compact flash cards. Seem to last longer then the cisco branded ones for some reason. 3725's are commonly used for pstns and frame relay in voice labs.

Thanks! Does the memory size of the CF card matter?

Comes down to what you plan on using it for. The more space you have the more you can load on it.

You want at least a 64MB, 128MB would be better as images are up to 40MB
Just format the flash in the router.
Goals CCNA by dec 2013, CCNP by end of 2014

A lot of people skip over the 3725 as a viable lab router but its fantastic when you have the right image; 12.4(15)T14 Adv IP Services.

I use 256MB DRAM and 128MB Flash cards in the routers found in the stub lab, Free CCNA Workbook » Free Cisco CCNA Lab Access via Online

The router its self takes 2 128MB PC100 (non-ecc) memory sticks and it has an internal cf flash slot as well as one that is next to the console port.

I was able to get the router to recognize a Cisco 512MB CF card but not the 1GB CF Cards.
There is no place like 127.0.0.1
