if i want to trobleshoot a connectivty problem on windos 98 and view the MAC address for the nic installed would i issuse the ARP or the ipconfig/all command in MS-DOS prompt window

for Win95 & 98 you should use WINIPCFG

click start => click run => cmd => type winipcfg
