IOS (tm) C2600 Software (C2600-I-M), Version 12.3(13), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)
System Bootstrap, Version 12.2(8r) [cmong 8r], RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
Boot ROM says there's 262144 Kbytes of memory.
show version reports:
cisco 2611XM (MPC860P) processor (revision 0x100) with 126976K/4096K bytes of memory.
Why does IOS not report the full 256Kb of RAM?

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Not meaning to be demeaning but did you do a memory upgrade yourself? Perhaps with 2 x 128mb sticks? Did you verify both are good (booted with one, then booted with the other)? Sometimes you get bad memory and the device can't pick it up correctly.----CCNP goal----
