Will a WIC-1DSU-T1 Module with rj-45 jacks be able to configure as a serial WAN connection, just like a wic t1 with db 60 port, or a v35 smart serial cable.
This seems the cheapest way to go if it does work. I see directions for “how to make a t1 cable with cat 5 and rj 45 connectors.
Is one side dte and the other dce do we configure clock rate with that or is that gone?

zrockstar Member Posts: 378You will need a T1 crossover and to set clock source and speed. These aren't CCNA commands, so it will require extra reading. I think when we did it in my academy lab we used an external CSU/DSU or muxer of some sort, can't really remember.
