Not sure if the people from 2007/2008 are still here but i looked at my past posts and if only i knew what was ahead for me lol or should i say the storm that was headed my way. Anyway, Im again looking to get back into an IT position. My story started out great, I was down and out in 2004 and felt like giving up with no IT experience, Just trying to get in any position IT related, so... Life smiled on me and I had started at a small IT company, from there i ended up doing some Desktop Support work and was promoted to do some Trade floor support then promoted again to Server Support in the Data Center at Credit Suisse Bank in Manhattan. The Managing director and Server manager thought i did a great job and i was called up again to put me on a higher project at RBC Capital Markets at the World Financial Center. There i was doing Support for traders and Dell blade support in the Data Center. I was doing very well, i felt good. Wearing nice clothes to work, wearing expensive watches, bought a fully loaded luxury car, was getting engaged. i mean, even while at my desk at work i would have my shoes shined at my desk. had awesome managers that i loved but then 2009 rolled in. Massive layoffs started and i was one of them however i already had a plan. I was Trading Foreign Exchange Markets with success, i became a trader doing well for myself and i left IT. I had clients wanting to invest with me in a large fund and i was on my way to great things. It all started one beautiful afternoon,...

i woke up feeling very sick and had to go to the ER with no insurance, then i got into a car accident by a drunk driver and he sped off and i couldnt catch him on the highway. I got 4 letters in the mail saying i owed 3 banks money and were all taking me to court. My mother became very ill in the hospital and needed surgery and then My Fiance left to be with another man and got engaged to him soon after she left. I was so distressed that i made horrible decisions in the market and started losing client money and my own. I lost my luxury car. i ended up in the hospital again for food poisoning. Still very hurt by the fiance, client was calling non stop and couldnt think straight. i ended up in the hospital AGAIN for chest pains. Medical bills piling up. Bills going unpaid because clients were pulling out. Friends that i thought were my friends turned away. All this happened in the span of 1 year back to back.

Now the storm has calmed and looking for positions to rebuild. I have had contact with Barclays Capital IT work and other companies. I have a phone interview tomorrow for Data Center Support at Morgan Stanley pretty much the job description is very similar to the work i did previously however what kind of questions would i expect from Data center server support? the limited details were more of a ticketing system to resolve server issues? much thanks in advance.
