For my Cisco CCNA class I took last semester in college (as an extra study tool), I used The Bryant Advantage. The website may seem a "scam" site, but I found it to work great comes with a book and videos (may be a bit expensive) of live router/switch configurations. Plus, the instructor is an actual CCIE, (I checked the number and it's legit)

    What book did you buy?

You could find answers easier on the CCNA/CCENT forums... >.>

    I'd suggest
    CCENT dummies guide
    Router alley CCNA guide
    Chris Bryant's CCNA book
Anything written by Rene Molenaar is also worth a read.

Interconnections by Radia Perlman. One of the best descriptions of spanning-tree and link-state routing protocols that you will find. I think it should be required reading before anyone takes the CCNA.
    Currently reading:
    IPSec VPN Design 44%
    Mastering VMWare vSphere 5 42.8%
