WGU - Class from a different program?

Hey all, I'm in the process of applying to WGU and I was told that you can not take a class from a different program. ie If I'm in the the security program, could I take, say, CRV1 Networks which is offered in some of the other programs but not the security one?

The Security degree already includes the CCNA, why would you want to take CRV1?

That was just the first example on the program comparison sheet I made up. I'm thinking more about the the software ones as well as the the Microsoft ones

No, they won't let you take other classes. You already heard it straight from the horses mouth.

Unlike a traditional school where you can sign up for any class you want. WGU can only enroll you in classes within your degree plan. Maybe you should re-evaluate what degree program you want to be registered in.

The problem is I want it all!! Security wins out in the end.
