Can anyone tell me the techniques to study for cisco exams. It sounds too complicated.

Read some books on the subject, get some routers and switches to play with....if this stuff wasn't complicated, everyone would be doing it.....i remain, he who remains to be....

Use more than one source for studying and try to get some routers or a simulator.
