The beginning of the test really shook me up. I was bombarded with question that I was not sure about and a few that I had no clue what to answer. I was not used to such long drawn out questions and it was hard to focus. After about 15 questions I started to pull it together but it was just not enough. Bottom line, I was not prepared. I don't feel that bad since I read about people who have failed these, no sham. I'm with ya.

If you will be doing mcse track, we prepared to be bombarded with really long questions. You need to eliminate the noise out of the questions..
You are the systems admin for win 2003 network with offices in Africa, Alaska, Australia (god where do the hell they find these things) bla bla bla. You have 2 trillion XP and 2000 machines running Office 97, XP, 2003 bla bla bla...(what the hell??). Your enduser dont have any problems printing and sending emails. You need to enable file and printer sharing on new XP roll outs. What do you do?
Choose the best possible answer.
Damn - "You ONLY need to enable file and printer sharing...."
Everything else is only NOISE.....try again and stay focusedWhat next? -

crabeater Member Posts: 88 ■■□□□□□□□□I am a slow reader, looking for every detail, and some local employers are requiring people to pass assessment tests (by same company that makes the SAT & others) involving reading & math. But I maxxed out the reading section by dumping the "noise" too - I read the answers first, then found the part in the paragraph that pertained.
I plan to do the same with M$ tests. -
