Currently studying for the Network +.
How long would you say that is an ideal time to study for it. Now i know it usually depends on the person itself, but like a ballpark estimate time to study for it and be ready for it.
I want to take it asap as there some good opportunities arising and i want to take them on. (no rush)
Followed by the Security +
I've read throughout the forum - but what would be the best advice - i know for sure the OSI 7 layer model. Any other key tips on memorizing that'll help me pass with flying colors.
Thanks.

FloOz Member Posts: 1,614 ■■■■□□□□□□I think a month of solid studying will prepare you for it. It really depends on your prior networking experience/knowledge. As for the OSI model it shouldn't be something you force yourself to memorize. When you finally understand it there wont be a doubt in your mind that transport is layer 4 or network is layer 3. It will all just come naturally.
When I first started studying I was in the same boat of memorizing the model, but once I studied for a few weeks I realized that I didnt need to "memorize" it because I "understand" it. Sorry if this is confusing lol just trying to get a good point across. -
