Cross Member Posts: 234At work I work on a P3 Pentium 800 Win98SE.
At home I run a P3 1Ghz with windows XP Professional.
I myself like to be able to do all testing on my computer when things hit the market.
Plus I have to be able to run my simple website from home/server. -

My work PCs are my home PCs -
Pavlov Member Posts: 264My little network lab has 2 P III's, both 1.2 GB processors - one has 60 GB HD and the other has 80 GB HD. My third PC in this network is a P 4 with just 20 GB HD. One system triple boots with ME, 2000 Pro and 2000 Adv. Srvr. The other two only boot to 2000 Pro, although one has been upgraded to XP Pro temporarily then downgraded again.
I don't have a work PC at the moment as I find myself between assignments in this tight economy. - It's okay though, that's how I've found the time to charge through the MSCE exams
Nice new forum selection, by the way, Webmaster.Pavlov

Celeron 1.7 with 768DDR running XP Pro - Celeron 1G with 768 running XP Home and a removeable drive with 98SE - Celeron 700 with 256 and booting to DOS, W3.1, W95, W98 and W2000 on 2 removeable drives - Celeron 600 with 128 running ME and 486 with 24MB and W95A. All linked with a CNet switch and linked to an ADSL router.
I guess 'other' could be BeOS. I have that and several flavours of Linux and OS2 on removeable trays for investigation.www.supercross.com

I have a Compaq laptop running Win2kpro with a MS wireless card, it works outside & in the basement.
Compaq desktop running WinME with ethernet connection to my Wireless MS basestation.
I also have a mini print server connected by ethernet on my printer, I wanted a wireless one but they ain't cheap.
I also have a webcam, netmeeting is really good for video & voice cheaper that a phone call. Plus if you both have a fast connection it's even better!

I think windows 95,98,98se & ME are crap, when something goes wrong you always get a blue screen! I prefer Win2k & Xp myself
