CCENT Lab Equipment

GBUEDBGBUEDB Member Posts: 4 ■□□□□□□□□□
I found this equipment found on Craiglist. Should I buy?

All fire up; most have been cleared. One or two may need password recovery but if you are still reading, you can do it or are interested in learning/practicing. For extra, I can ensure all are cleared and ready for you. None have most current IOS.

Stack includes: (no cables, power or otherwise)
1- 1200 switch
2- 3500XL (w/POE) switch
1- 2500 router
2-3600 routers
1-3700 router

probably.... not... unless its an amazingly great deal. (cheap)

those switches probably won't support all the commands needed even for CCNA, and definitely not adequate for CCNP,CCIE, etc.

And seeing that switches are the one thing GNS3 cannot emulate, i'd say... no.
Studying: vmware, CompTIA Linux+, Storage+ or EMCISA
    Future: CCNP, CCIE

    2-3600 routers
    1-3700 router
2015 goals - ccna voice / vmware vcp.

Wow you guys in Raleigh have a lot better selection to choose from on Craigslist than up north. I saw an ad in RI today that basically stated computer tower, monitor, and keyboard no further description than that lol icon_study.gif
