where do I start?

in CCNA & CCENT
Title says it all, what do i do to start studying for this test do i just read books and take practice exams? or do i need equipment? does anyone have advice of where I should start? I have my network+ cert and i want to follow the networking field I would love to work with switches and routers they really spark my interest.

    A combination of books and hands-on practice is required. The hands-on practice can be with real, simulated, or emulated devices. Browse some of the other threads in this forum for ideas. :)
