Noticed in the output on a 2801 it lists two serial ports. One is obviously the console port. Is the othe the AUX port?

Aux and console are not listed as serial ports in the config. So, your router probably has two serial ports installed.

To elaborate.. Are you looking at the "sho run?" If so, check towards the very bottom and you'll see different "lines." Like line con and line vty.. If you're looking at "sho ip int brief" then you won't see the lines, just the available ip interfaces. The serial interfaces are typically used for WAN connections.

Line con is for the console port.. and the vty lines are for telnet access. So if you want to do access control or various other things for the console connection, do "line con 0" and then configure things there.
