I really had a hard time with these definitions....especially when doing research on it.
It seemed that the harder I searched on the NET for this info, the more conflicts in the explanations! So I guess, to pass the CCNA cert, just remember how Cisco defines it.
Cisco defines these terms as follows:
Inside global address - A legitimate IP address assigned by the service provider that represents one or more inside local IP addresses to the outside world.
So, the INSIDE GLOBAL address is the address after NAT has changed the private address to the public address.
