I passed. It was pretty easy and straightforward, mostly basic answers. I studied a good amount for it though. I used technotes and practice tests from this site, as well as notes and practice tests from MCMCSE.com. I used a cramsession study guide as well. I did have Mike Meyer's Security Book, but I only read 1 chapter.

    First of all, congrats on passing the exam. I hope that the feeling will be the same for me as it was for you regarding the difficulty of the exam.

    Now, think about the exam - not too much :) If you had to choose just one area in which the exam really tested you on - what would you say?

    Honestly, thats a hard question to answer. There were about 100 questions, so to go back and try and remember which I saw more of is difficult. Also, these 100 were pulled from a pool of questions and i dont know how many are in the pool, maybe 500? So even though I may have seen a fleet of questions about vpn, that doesnt mean that you will.

    I can tell you what I used to study, which I think is in the first post. I also have some experience in security, so that complimented things. My best advice is to look at Comptia's objectives, and review what you think is your weak spots.
