Hi all,
Was wondering if someone could help me out with regards to Asymmetric algorithms.
Rivest, Shermir & Aldeman Encryption Algorithms,
Diffie - Hellman Key Exchange,
El Gamal Encryption Algorithm,
Elliptic Curve Cryptography.
Are these the only Asymmetric Algorithms out there for the exam?
Also could anyone tell me the Cipher Type and Key Lengths of each please?
Regards
Eamonn

Thanks for the reply,
Is it the key length of RSA,diffie hellman and el gamal?
I've looked for the key lengths in a few books, it gives the key lengths and cipher types for the symmetric algorithms but only gives the names for the asymmetric algorithms.
Could you tell me them or a place where i might find them?
Regards

ja5983 Member Posts: 129I would suggest you pick up the security+ for dummies book..it has all that info and really tells you what to study on it and what to just peruse over.
other than that you can just google the key lengths..i wouldnt get too stuck on encryption though, better you learn the network security and different types of recovery plan details in my opinionJosh
