I'm currently working on equipment for a CCNA lab, with the ability to expand into a CCNA-V, CCNA-S and eventually a CCNP Lab.
Would the following equipment be a good start? Any suggestions on what to improve or change from here?
2 2950s
1 3550-PWR
1 2610XM
1 1760
1 1721

Patel128 Member Posts: 339I think that should be good. I may be completely wrong but the 1760 router you have should have more benefit when you go to CCNA Voice.Studying For:

The 1721 is a good router for CCNA, but for CCNP, the 1721 doesn't have an IOS that supports OSPFv3. I haven't looked too deeply at CCNP:Switch yet, but I believe you'd need to replace the 2950s with at least one 3560 and another 3550.----CCNP goal----

mapletune Member Posts: 316I'd say, just take it slow. Get through with your CCNA first and everything will come more naturally.
As of now, you are very well equipped for your first goalStudying: vmware, CompTIA Linux+, Storage+ or EMCISA
Future: CCNP, CCIE
