Love the CASP btw

I manage a service desk and we support ~20,000 users.

Can't discuss the salary.

5 years ago when doing help desk I had 50k users and made $350. Oh... wait... the other way around: $50k and 350 users

I had a Jr. tech working with me but he was fired a few months after I got there. It took them 6 months to hire his replacement so I ran solo for that long. No fun.

At my old job it was maybe a hundred thousand users. Piss pay was at $12.50/hr

Thanks - It was a hard one.

The reason I'm asking is because we service over 60k users. Our pay varies depending on your level...junior, mid, senior. I was curious as to what others were making. I think our pay ranges from 35k - 60k?

That sounds like the usual for a Service desk position.

when I was on the Service Desk, I started at $18 an hour, and we had about 60k users

We serve 10K users and I started at $51K.

We serve 100k++ users and starting pay is ~$50 which is what i get currently, we only monitor, no support other than white switches of servers.
