problem with console connection

Helloz, i had bought 2 old deprecated routers (2501) for making a small switched lab in my room but i realised that i cant connect through console to one of them. In the other router everything goes fine through console connection. If they had changed it and router do not permit console access is there a way to connect to it? What should I do? :S 9600/8/n/1/none and teraterm opens the window but nothing happens :S

Try turn if off and turn it back on whilst pressing ctrl and break and see if that does anything.

Have you tried pressing enter a couple of times? Does Tera Term give you any error messages? Make sure you are pressing the right key combinations for the break sequence. If that didn't do anything you might not be trying the right combination of keys. You might need to press the ALT+b sequence to get into ronmon mode to reset it.

Open the router up and re-seat the ram and flash memory.
