I am VARY new to the job seeker world, I have always been in my own business.
I try to make a brief Bio so you could get a small idea of who i am.
Need help as to what type of IT position to try for
I have been in various technology positions for about 15years.
I owned a successful printed circuit board design, manufacture, and assembly company for over 10 years. Originally I did all of myown PCB drawings and assemblies, after I grew I began to outsource. I built myfirst PC’s and LAN in the early 1990’s, I had 5 Technician stations, R&D,shipping and receiving, and Marketing and administration departments.
After 911 many things changed, I beganto repair PC’s and service components. Business was fine and my mortgage waspaid until 2008. Then I decided to re-educate myself and choose the Cisco pathwith a Microsoft backup.
I enrolled in the local college and took computer basicsand cisco networking academy. My background enabled me to complete the programswith high marks of 4.0gpa and I got my Comptia A+, Microsoft MCITP:eda, and CCNA.
I then began to lookfor work in my local area which was a large holiday resort area. The jobselections were very small, like one job, and only one new job every 3 weeks orso. The best I could find was setting up wrtg54 routers in private houses, orbench work on PC’s.
I moved, and just continue to study. I ended up completing my CCNP and moving toNorthern Virginia. I have a good Lab rack and I work on it every day all day.
My life experience does not really portray enterprise levelhistory, but I do not fit in a entry level either. Getting in over my head hasalways been my life, my dedication has always carried my threw to success.
Please help suggest what my possible target position could be.

Have you tried posting your resume to the job boards just to see what hits you get?"The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight, but they, while their companions slept were toiling upward in the night." from the poem: The Ladder of St. Augustine, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
