I am going to be taking the ICND1 in a week and I was wondering what I should do for my final parperation for the exam?

My studying material is:

Odom Study Guide ICND1
CCNA Flash Cards and Exams Practice Pack(Using ICND1 Section)
And the Boson Exam that came with the Odom book

Anything that should help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Okay, I've seen a lot of tutorials for the CCNA labs and they were pretty decent. But! None of them offered any continuity. Does ANYBODY know where I can find a series of labs that build off each other, from a simple switch with two connected PCs to a convoluted LAN with routers, switches, servers, hubs, WiFi Routers, and the like? It get's discouraging to finish the first lab trouble-free just to go to the next lab puzzled and confused with a totally new layout.

I'd try and read over the book one last time if you can get it done. Understanding the concepts is huge in the CCENT.

Not to be a douche or anything, but it's CCENT. And yes, there is a lot of theory on the ICND1 exam. To be honest, you can get by with GNS3 for the ICND1 exam - or Packet Tracer. Though, for PT you'll need to be enrolled in a Cisco class to get this program. Read the book at least twice so you can retain as much information as possible. Oh, and also go to subnettingquestions.com - Free Subnetting Questions and Answers Randomly Generated Online to practice your subnetting skills.

I would try as many assessment tests as possible to find out if I am able to remember everything...and then go through the areas where I see I need to revise...Good luck !!!

The problem will be finding your weaknesses because like everyone, there are lots of stuff we already know but putting it all together with what you don't know included is the key to passing. So you have to cover just what you don't know and then practice it all.
