Drawbacks to working for a service provider

Just ran into a major drawback to working for a service provider. I'll have 3 business e-mail accounts and need to fill out 4 timesheets/day.

Fortunately I'm not considered business critical employee, so I need to carry only 1 business cell.

I don't think that's a draw back to working for a provider in general, just the one you work at!

I've never had to do anything like that before. Never once have had to fill out a time sheet.

My mistake. It's 4 business e-mails, not 3. Probably only use 2 of them on a daily basis.

Also need to fill out weekly status report.

I work for a MSP but strictly on site so I use their email infrastructure. Everyone sends emails to that particular account. However I could see consulting for mutiple companies becoming somewhat time consuming and frustrating.

I am consistently creating proposals and status reports. That can be time consuming but I am getting faster and more accurate. It doesn't hurt that I have a professional proposal writer and MIT grad to leverage when I need an idea or run into a roadblock.

Just 1 client. I need to report to the client, prime on the contract, sub-prime & my company (we're corporate partner with sub).

Yep, same here. Though there was a time they were making us do shift reports where we had to account for pretty much every minute, though that was to justify additional headcount, so I'm told.
