Ok, I got Both CUCM and Unity 8.6.2 up and Running on VMware Workstation and here were the settings to save you some time. I got mine from Cisco icon_rolleyes.gif. You can run the CUCM and UC in Demo mode to test out. VMware workstation can also be found from VM's website and there are a ton of free keys floating around the web so you will just have to look. This is all further I have progressed it since Im still playing with my UC520. I will update when I learn more. Iam looking for advice as what to use as a voice gateway router besides my UC520? Cheap and easy.

CUCM

1) Memory 2GB
2) Processors 1
3) HD 200 GB
4) CD/DVD point it to CUCM iso file
5) Network "You have to use the Virtual Network Editor and change VMnet0 to Bridged to your Nic"

Unity Connection

1) Memory 4GB
2) Processors 1
3) HD 160 GB
4) CD/DVD point it to CUCM iso file
5) Network "You have to use the Virtual Network Editor and change VMnet0 to Bridged to your Nic"

You should probably take down the link because piracy is frowned upon.
