71-688, Managing and Maintaining Windows 8 - Beta Exam

So I got the invite for the 71-688 beta exam and signed up for the 25th. This is part of the Windows 8 MCSA along with 70-687. Since I have a Win7 MCITP, I could take the 689 upgrade exam, but I'm not one to pass up a free test. Registration opened a week ago and the exam period starts tomorrow and runs through the end of the month.
But here's the crazy part - the Exam guide and it's Skills Measured section have not been published yet, so we have no idea what the exam covers. I would know, had I been selected for the Alpha content development a month ago, but I was not. I would like to know what the exam covers so that I can prepare for it and pass. I'm not sure how MS hopes to get a good set of scores to set the final question pool if all the exam participants are going in unaware of the exam topics.
My company is already deploying Windows 8 and I was planning on upgrading tomorrow. Looking forward to having Hyper-V without having to dual-boot with Server 2008R2 like I do now. I have a week and a half until my next assisgnment, and now I know what I will be doing to fill that time.

If you're registered as a subject matter expert here MSL Subject Matter Experts | Microsoft Connect you might get invites for beta exams. For the 71-688 it is way too late though.
I received an invite on October 16, 2012 but they still didn't have the objectives posted. When I found them (on the 17th or 18th), I tried to register but the free beta was closed because they already reached the maximum number of people taking the exam. -

The 417 Server 2012 upgrade exam is next for me, and 687 will probably be after that before I move on to the MCSE Server Infrastructure.
