Assuming its a Cisco router and you are logging to a syslog server check there. If you are only logging locally hopefully you have enough room in the buffer to see whats going on.
You could look at a 'show tech' but it will probably be mostly Greek to you.An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made.
