Your lab is severely lacking. You can't do any STP labs with a single switch.
I've never read the Cioara book, but I always suggest the Odom books as someone's mains source of study.An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made. -

like networker050184 said get Odom or Lammle. Would most say that a 2 router/3 switch would be a minimum for CCENT?Studying For:

+1 for book recommendation. Though, for CCENT you technically don't need a lab. You will benefit from having one. STP really isn't until ICND2.2017 Certification Goals:
