I need someone with the 70-659 certification that does not have it associated with an organization. An organization I work for needs the certification to renew Silver with Microsoft before then end of the month. There would be some money involved so please contact me privately

I think there was a thread about this topic a while back and the guys were saying that you couldnt (or shouldnt) do this. Looks like the company is trying to get someone on the cheap. Are Microsoft okay with this?

EDIT: I think the thread starter was cyberguypr

its not that they are trying to get someone cheap it is that the company is a strong VMware partner and does not work with Hyper-v. And besides the time constraints it does not make sense to have someone put in resources to a soon to be expired Microsoft cert.

The main risk on the company's side to be honest. Whilst Microsoft obviously intend the people to work in the company - so the skills are within the company and not just on paper - you can easily dis-associate yourself again and there is nothing the company can do. Done that myself when I left the company - took one mouse click (you should be able to use your own passport login to the partner portal once you are associated) ..

So you associate your MCP ID with company X - company X pays you for it - Guy with MCP takes money and removes himself from the company - he won - you lost ...

So I wouldn't do this - granted, once they have renewed their membership with the MCP, you wouldn't lose the Silver status immediately.

There are a few threads here discussing this :

But - why not pushing for the cert and ask for the money yourself ?

My old company offered a nice bonus and raise if people go ahead and make sure the company get's gold .. this way I didn't just get my MCITP:SA and EA, I got cash and raise in the process :)

All about incentives - if your company is that desperate then I am sure they are willing to negotiate :)
