Passed BBC1 and GAC1 at a Prometric center. Sadly, AGC1 and BVC1 are not offered through them - tried scheduling the exams at a "WGU-approved testing center" but they gave me a date that I did not request so I am waiting on the web cam to try out online proctoring.

Has anyone who started on 11/01/12 received the web cam yet? Mine was scheduled to be delivered today but FedEx gave me some cock-and-bull story why it wasn't.

The HHT1 task is taking longer than I expected - I started on it before the beginning of term and, to date, have only completed 80% or so. I want to finish the 12 credits by the end of November.

HHT1 was fun. I actually had to work with a course mentor to clarify one of the parts of it though. i got mine kicked back twice because I was not giving the examples in exactly the way they wanted it. Once I spoke with the course mentor though i got it and passed. overall a pretty easy course though.

Wow, you are off to a good start. I just requested the voucher for WFV1 on Friday. Hopefully I can take the exam this week.
I received my webcam yesterday but I don't plan on using it for the three WGU proctored exams that I have to take.

Ivan, I received my webcam Friday and just took AGC1 about 10 mins ago using it. What does the tracking number say from Fedex? Sorry dude

I haven't received my webcam either and I started on Nov 1st. I'm waiting for the webcam so I can take the test for 2 classes. My mentor said I should received it within 2 weeks of starting...

Yep, this x100. Don't treat it like a essay, rather an outline using the headers from the rubric.

nosoup4u - congrats on passing AGC1!

Did you schedule AGC1 prior to receiving the web cam on Friday in order to do the exam on Sunday? Our common mentor told me that I need to schedule a web-proctored exam a minimum of 5 days in advance of the required date.

I did schedule it as soon as I got the fedex tracking number about 5 days before hand I lucked out, but planned on just using a webcam I have if I didn't get it.

Something tells me that wouldn't have worked. I never tried using a regular webcam though. Anyone?

there's nothing special about it minus it has leds which I turned off anyways but I'm glad it came either way

Yeah I set mine up as an outline from the start, but I have since heard of people getting getting it kicked back for being in paragraphs. So keep that in mind everyone.

The course mentor that I worked with was great. I had to talk to him about the modular counting part too and he explained it really concisely the first time. Overall it was a pretty easy course for me, but I pick up Math pretty quickly so that helps.
