As usual you gotta take these things with a grain of salt.

Ignoring the raw numbers, the percent increases do not come as shocking to me. The market is transitioning, with more and more demand for highly capable IT professionals without a matching increase in supply. It's the .com boom all over again, in a way. Until more people start getting interested in IT careers, our pay is going to keep going up as employers compete with each other more and more.
