Hi
I have a gns3 server that I recently setup. My OS is XP pro 64 bit. I began using the gns3 server yesterday. I have trouble restarting gns3. You can start gns3 without any trouble, but when you begin to create topology, save and restart,it will not restart.
I know I could go go back to an earlier version like 7.4 of gns3, but some of the gns3 newer features are nice.
I should not have anything that is in conflict with the gns program. I have theOS, notepad pro, secureCRT,wireshark, and snagit. That is telling me that xp, and gns3 ver8.xx are the issue.
Anyone found the work around,
My main reason keeping XP is my 6 port network card features.
The Silicom 6 port network card full features work with xp,w2k3, or w2k8, but not w2k8r2 or win7.
The ability to create VLANS, and teaming, are what I don't want to lose. The card does work in win7 but not with the VLAN, and teaming.
Thanks
