On asa 5505 how to forward sip requests to cme router either on gui or cli
unknown
On asa 5505 how to forward sip requests to cme router. Another question this is my first time working on a 5505. The topology is ISP->ASA 5505->2811->3560->lan
Can I just have the asa setup for pat and access-list. Have the 2811 control the dhcp for phones and router on a stick. I really can't find any docs for a basic asa -> router -> lan. Don't have much reference material. Anyone would know a link or something?

I believe this is just a SIP inspect rule. The reason why is due to the nature of SIP. It embeds the SIP source in the L7 header. So, even if you NAT'd the L3 SRC/DST IP, you would still need to ensure the IP in L7 Header is handled appropriately. Do you have SIP Inspect in the config?
