Hopefully can get some guidance here...

I just recently finished the CompTIA trio and was considering learning some basic programming before jumping into any more security or networking certifications, I have a programming for dummies book and was considering studying for an HTML5,CSS3 and JavaScript certification. I am pretty clueless when it comes to programming and not sure if I should even divert my studies from Networking/Security as it seems like very different disciplines and I want to make sure what I work on has synergy with each other....would learning HTML5,CSS3 and JavaScript(specifically the 70-480) be beneficial/synergistic or completely a move in a different direction? Apologize if this sounds unclear, like I said, I have no idea at the moment.

have a clear vission.. you don`t need to study web development if want you want to become is a securiy or networking field..

its just a waste of time.. Just go and start to learnng security or networking depends on what you really try and want to be..
I you try to study all of that you can know them but you can`t master one of them.. Fisrt Try to figure out and brainstorm
use google to find wat you want to be .

I don't think that Web Technology (HTML, CSS, JS) is the best next move for you.

If you want to go into security you should definitely learn a programming language to understand what the common mistakes are and how to spot and fix them. You could go for something like Perl or PHP which are beginner friendly and widely available. You don't have to write complex applications but knowing your way around either will make your work more effective.

I think you could learn basic HTML/CSS w/ something like the Head First HTML book and then go into learning PHP w/ something like the PHP Solutions: Dynamic Wed Design Made Easy. Wouldn't necessarily give you any certs but those books are quick reads with exercises/labs integrated into them. When you're finished you should be a little beyond intermediate in HTML (4 strict) and have learned programming w/ PHP.

I don't see diving into HTML5/CSS3 to be very beneficial to you unless you plan on doing web design work on the side. And since you claim to be clueless about programming, it might be a while for you to be good enough to actually do anything development-heavy.

To start off in programming w/o going thru web design 1st, I'd suggest looking into Python. Just my 2 cents.

Also check out something like codeacademy.com. Think they have a program where they send you lessons once a week. Be easy to learn a bit of programming on the side while really focusing on something more security/networking heavy.

Just jump into your next certifications. If you really want to do serious offensive security, yes, you'll need to learn programming, but web development doesn't make sense as an initial focus and you should make sure that's what you really want to do. Secure systems/network implementation, security policy management, and various other roles not involving programming are going to be more likely targets for you.
