    No offence meant to anyone:

    "Saying that Java is nice because it works on every OS is like saying that **** sex is nice because it works on every gender."

    So many great laughs. My little contribution:

    The thing about UDP jokes is I don't care if you get them or not.

    I can't believe there are no jokes about the Ether bunny yet. Wrong time of the year I guess.

    When I try to send SYNs to chicks, I don’t get any ACKs. Just FINs and RSTs,

    People who tell routing jokes always exceed their time-to-live.

    No packet is ever sent into the internet twice, for it's not the same internet and it is not the same packet.
    Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of technology?... The Shadow DO

    OK.... I am now in a part of the Applications team (and if nobody else can fix it the problem comes here).
    The first thing I ask my boss on the conference call is "So if they don't talk at layer 7 we don't work with them?"
    Everyone laughed. It was my first and last OSI layer joke. Maybe I should get another for Presentation?

    My new favourite joke:

    Why do IT professionals mix up Halloween and Christmas?
    Because Oct 31 == Dec 25

    This is awesome. I really enjoyed all these jokes. So far the only one I didn't know was the JunOS Haikus. And sorry guys; I had an ethernet joke, but someone else told it at the same time, so I exponentially backed off and tried again.
