Hello All,
I plan on taking a Network Firewall class basically using Cisco ASA and/or PIX. i was wondering would be a good idea to find an old firewall and use it for pracice. Like an used Cisco Pix 501 Firewall. Or is there a simulater in packet tracer? Any ideas on a good study material?
Thanks

Trifidw Member Posts: 281GNS3 can emulate ASA images. You can also install ASDM to the firewall and access it on your PC. Make sure you familiar yourself with different versions of ASA, NAT was changed a lot in 8.3.

I took me about 12 hours total, from below zero to running and working on video 3, cbt nuggets firewall with kieth barker. I found everything at the gns3 forum and google.
