On the certifications you have two listed but CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, and Server+ listed in relevant coursework, do you have the certifications yet or is that coming down the pipe?

Any other IT related experience you could put down?

Finish the summary and the bullet points then re-upload. Be easier to actually critique. Also consider listing out your skills to show the technology you're proficient in.

And maybe put CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate? That would show up on more searches.

You will probably get much better critique feedback if you actually finished it first. For me it's like I don't know where to start, so I won't. Does it look like a resume? Kind of. I'm not trying to be rough on you, but finish it up and repost it and people will be more than happy to help you out.

I took classes for those certifications, but I did not take that actual CompTIA exams. As for any other IT related experience, no.

I think someone mentioned putting in a skills section, I considered it but I've read many times over that a skills section should have some actual on the job experience to back it up. With very little IT experience, I feel it could be a little misleading if i went and listed all kinds skills and things that I've done in a lab, but never actually touched in a actual production environment. I could be wrong though?

Jobs I'm looking for guy - Entry level.

Do any of you guys have know of a solid resource for writing a summary? They never sound right when I try.

I think you should put in a skill section, i was in a similar situation 3 months ago and with some help from TE and a lot of digging for the perfect template I was able to land a sweet first job. Heres my technical skills section since we have similar certs.. maybe it will help

Networking: Solid understanding of Cisco IOS routers and switches, including single-area OSPF, RIPv1/v2, EIGRP, Vlan and subnetting.
Applications: Working knowledge with Active Directory, pfSense 2.0/1.2.3, WDS, WSUS, Microsoft Office Suite 03/07/10, Windows Exchange 07/10

Exposure to VMware ESX/i vSphere 4/5, Symantec Backup Exec & Antivirus
Basic knowledge of Sharepoint and Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES)

Operating Systems: Strong working knowledge of Windows 2000/XP/7, Windows Server 03/08/R2, Mac OS, Mac server

Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux specifically Ubuntu and Fedora

Database Systems: Basic knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL and writing SQL statements.
Scripting: Basic knowledge of Perl and Bash

I might go with something like this, and then can the 'relevant coursework' part I currently have. Out of curiosity, what do you consider basic knowledge? I find it very difficult to write about myself without sounding like I'm really just BSing.
