Exam Objectives
(2) Watch these videos:
Professor Messer’s CompTIA N10-005 Network+ Training
(3) Read a book, such as:
Mike Meyers' Network+ book or
Todd Lammle's Network+ book
(4) Do a lot of practice questions, such as these:
Darril Gibson's Network+ Practice QuestionsFall 2014: Start MA in Mathematics [X]

anubhav65 Member Posts: 6 ■□□□□□□□□□thanks bro ...but u think the cbt nuggets for N+ are good enough?
and what is the difference between : N10-004 and N10-005 ....are they 2 different exams? -
Ivanjam Member Posts: 978 ■■■■□□□□□□(1) I have never watched CBT Nuggets but I hear they are a good resource however, they are a paid service whereas Professor Messer's videos are free.
(2) N10-004 is the previous (retired) version of the Network+ exam while N10-005 is the current version. I believe there is a post somewhere on Techexams that compares the objectives of the two versions.

Darril Member Posts: 1,588Welcome to the forums anubhav65. This blog entry talks about some of the differences between N10-004 and N10-005: Network+ N10-004 and N10-005 Differences.
Good luck. -
DoubleNNs Member Posts: 2,015 ■■■■■□□□□□Unfortunately the N10-004 is retired so even if you know the difference between them, you can't take it anyway. Focus on the N10-005. Follow Ivanjam's instructions and you'll pass:(1) Get the exam objectives from here and print them out:

Professor Messer’s CompTIA N10-005 Network+ Training

However, in my opinion I'd switch the order of 2 and 3. I liked using the videos to review as opposed to learn the material. But that's just me.
I also read maybe half of the Todd Lammle book, but I thought it was overkill and kind of dry. I liked the Michael Meyers book a lot more and actually finished that one.Goals for 2018:
