A+ Exam Printable - Exam printables for A+, Network+, Security+, MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA, and more
I just purchased the printable for Security+ (SYO-301) and there are hundreds of questions with detailed explanations.
I haven't gone through them, but for a buck it's worth a try.

kriscamaro68 Member Posts: 1,186 ■■■■■■■□□□Paul78 they are not a ****. It is preplogic which has been around for awhile. Also cert guard says preplogic is safe. If you type in preplogic.com it redirects to the learnsmartsystems.com site.

paul78 Member Posts: 3,016 ■■■■■■■■■■Ahh. My mistake - I did see that it was Preplogic. When I originally googled it, I was seeing b-**** sites recommending their materials alongside known **** materials.
I tend not to use cert guard because of their stale data. I read some controversy about it as well. I will have to improve my research skills in future before putting foot in mouth. -
teancum144 Member Posts: 229 ■■■□□□□□□□After paul78's comment, I opened a chat with learnsmartsystems.com to ask if they are a brain ****. Here is a copy of the chat:
you: However, a poster said that your material is a brain ****.
you: Is that true?
Phil: Definitely not a brain ****
Phil: furthest thing from it
you: You may want to have a representative of your company add a post to the following thread and refute what the poster said:
you: http://www.techexams.net/forums/security/84242-tip-hundreds-practice-questions-1-a.html
Phil: Thanks very much for that. Already passed it on
you: Also, you don't show up on CertGuard | IT Certification Exam Security & Integrity as a safe vendor for exam prep materials. You should get added so that people won't question you.
Phil: preplogic.com
Phil: thats us
Phil: cramsession.com so is that, that's our free whitepaper source

ptilsen Member Posts: 2,835 ■■■■■■■■■■I used PrepLogic on my A+, Net+, and I believe on my 20-290/291 exams. They were okay practice exams. Not great, not the worst. The $1 guides were not bad at all, but at the time I didn't feel like the $1 added much to the $30 I had spent on the book. On the other hand, it's not a bad source to do some last-minute cramming on, and $1 isn't exactly going to break the bank.

Test Prep for Certification Preparation - Kaplan SelfTest is a good one that I have used for just about every exam.
If you want to pay more money for basically the same thing you can use Transcender IT Certification Prep Training Products - Practice Exams and More
They both use Kaplan for the test software questions but transcender may have a few more add-ons for the price but I only needed practice tests. -
ptilsen Member Posts: 2,835 ■■■■■■■■■■I've been fairly pleased with Transcender. It seems to be a bit more accurate than Preplogic, and probably better value overall, at least on the practice exam side.

chrisone Member Posts: 2,278 ■■■■■■■■■□wow $1 for non-**** questions?! that is impressive. Remember we shouldn't bet judgmental on such things until we find out the facts on the situation. If its comes up on the cert guard list, as safe, then you should take it for what its worth. I will look into it, when the time comes. $250 for each CCNP security exam is not cheap and baring they changed two exams, once within 6 months, I can understand where you should exhaust all legal forms of study.Certs: CISSP, EnCE, OSCP, CRTP, eCTHPv2, eCPPT, eCIR, LFCS, CEH, SPLK-1002, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-900, AZ-500, VHL:Advanced+

teancum144 Member Posts: 229 ■■■□□□□□□□Here's an interesting post that implies that Transcender, Kaplan, and SelfTest are all related companies and use the same questions:
Practice Tests - Transcender vs. Kaplan SelfTest vs. MeasureUp | Cognitive Information
If that's the case, then price would be the deciding factor. If you like my comments or questions, you can show appreciation by clicking on the reputation badge/star icon near the lower left of my post. -

DoubleNNs Member Posts: 2,015 ■■■■■□□□□□So, I'm thinking about spending like $20 and getting practice questions for all the certs I plan on getting in 2013 + the A+ I'll be taking in a few weeks. before I push the button, anyone think this is a bad idea?
Edit: It says 3 per customer.
But does that mean I could put 3 on each credit card/e-mail address?Goals for 2018:
Certs: RHCSA, LFCS: Ubuntu, CNCF CKA, CNCF CKAD | AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS Certified Security Specialist, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
Learn: Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus & Golang | Improve: Docker, Python Programming
